The main character in the young adult novel is Nora O’Malley – this role will be played by Millie Bobbie Brown. Nora is the daughter of a con artist and is now very good at this job herself.

When she, her ex-boyfriend Wes and her current secret friend Iris – although Wes does not know anything about the relationship – are taken hostage during a bank robbery, Nora has to use all her skills of manipulation and disguise that she has as a fraudster, to get yourself and your friends out of this sticky situation. The trio’s complicated relationship dynamics doesn’t exactly make it any easier.
