Factories in Europe and the United States will be able to produce hundreds of flying taxis annually to provide enough of them to start the service as early as 2025. According to the plans, as early as next year, the first passenger taxis from Germans may be put into use and fly over cities as part of the tests.

In turn, in 2025, the function of ordering them in selected metropolises is to be available to customers. Lilium plans to conquer the American market. Taxis are expected to transport business passengers from New York's JFK Airport to lower Manhattan in just 5 minutes (currently 50 minutes).

Biaggi accelerated the electric Wattman to a dizzying speed of 407 km / h. But it is not everything. The average speed in two directions was also achieved at the level of 360 km / h. Voxan engineers, however, intend to raise the speed to 398 km / h.

The Italian broke the speed record of 330 km / h, which was set earlier by Ryuji Tsuruta on the Mobitec EV-02A model. However, there is another record worth taking into account as well, namely 351 km / h, set by the Lightning LS-218 many years ago.

It was possible to keep them only thanks to the efficient reaction of the "meteorite hunter" Robert Ward, who, two days after the landing of this unique specimen, on January 20, 2018, found its fragment on the frozen Lake Strawberry Lake. He used the NASA weather radar for this purpose, because the meteorite fragments were the size of hail, so it would be difficult to find them simply by combing the area.

Then he immediately handed the find over to specialists from the Field Museum in Chicago, which allowed for its containment before it was contaminated. According to its curator, Philipp Heck: - The meteorite is unique because it fell onto a frozen lake and was quickly recovered. He was very virgin. We could see that the minerals hadn't been changed much, and later found that the meteorite contained a large load of extraterrestrial organic compounds. These types of organic compounds most likely came to the early Earth due to meteorites and could be key components of life.

Scientists have determined that it was a rare chondrite meteorite (a stony meteorite composed mainly of olivine and pyroxenes) H4, only 4% of meteorites found on Earth belong to this group. Initial analyzes suggest it contains more than 2,600 discrete organic compounds that remained intact, despite the high temperature acting on them as the meteorite made its way through our atmosphere. In addition, we learned that about 12 million years ago, it probably broke away from its native asteroid, which formed 4.5 billion years earlier!

Moreover, the country has only officially recorded 550 cases of the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, and as TIME magazine suggests, this was achieved through a quick and decisive response:

Researchers from Leiden University have just presented their work, which is probably the smallest boat in the world. The model, which measures just 30 microns in length, was 3D printed as part of a project to create micro-floats with very complex shapes. To take pictures of it, you had to use a scanning electron microscope, i.e. one used to observe and characterize organic and inorganic materials on a nanometric to micrometric scale.

Thanks to this, we know that the boat is full of details and faithfully reproduces the actual vessels - with a cabin, chimney and even small windows. The whole project is all the more impressive as the boat is a third of a human hair thick! Its model is 3DBenchy, a computer 3D model designed specifically to test the accuracy and capabilities of 3D printers that have to deal with all these details. And since this particular concept uses an unconventional method of 3D printing, it was extremely important to ensure that it was possible to achieve this level of detail.

What kind of print are we talking about? The microloat was not printed using the conventional extrusion method that is used with plastic objects on a micro scale. Instead, scientists turned to a technique called two-photon polymerization, which in short, is about laser carving complex shapes and patterns into a material designed to respond to light. It is worth noting, however, that, as we mentioned earlier, it is not only a work of art, but above all a practical application, i.e. testing various shapes of micro-floaters, i.e. artificial units capable of faithfully imitating biological micro-floaters, i.e. single cells observed, for example, in bacteria or sperm. .

They usually take the shape of simple spheres, and scientists wanted to see if they could be much more complicated. Therefore, the 3DBenchy boat has been joined by spirals, screws, spiked spheres or groups of balls - one side of the objects is covered with platinum, which reacts with the surrounding medium, producing bubbles and using them to move. It should be noted, however, that although the tiny boat definitely meets these assumptions, at the same time it is not the most efficient of the shapes and the spirals and screws did much better.

Researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology can always be counted on when it comes to new technologies, and this time the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) presented us with the development of the idea of ​​an autonomous Roboat boat. And where exactly did this idea come from? Of course, it did not come from the air and, as scientists explain, they were asked to create a concept of a fleet of autonomous boats for passenger transport that could prove useful on the narrow city canals of the constitutional Dutch capital, Amsterdam.

As you can imagine, there are many more places in the world where autonomous Roboat boats could show their abilities - transporting people, collecting garbage, delivering packages and performing many other tasks. 'We are developing a fleet of Roboats that can provide people and goods, and also combine with other Roboat units to form entire autonomous platforms for aquatic activities, explains MIT Professor Daniela Rus.

It is worth noting, however, that although the second version of the Roboat is larger, smarter and can carry more weight, thanks to which it is able to carry up to 2 adults, it does not mean that ... it should do it. At least in its present form, because scientists have not yet developed suitable seats, protective barriers or storage space. However, it perfectly shows that such functionality is possible and can be an interesting alternative to current solutions, especially in places such as Amsterdam or Venice. When it comes to technical issues, Roboat uses similar algorithms as autonomous cars, and it operates in a theoretically safer environment, so this should not worry potential users. The presented version of the boat measures less than 2 meters, but MIT scientists have already announced that they are working on a 4-meter version that will be able to carry 4-6 passengers.

Very interesting news comes to us from scientists from NASA, who for many years supervised the mission of this probe, which studied Saturn and its moons. Well, with the help of the CDA space analyzer (Cosmic Dust Analyzer), i.e. one of the measuring devices installed on board the probe, grains of cosmic dust that did not come from our solar system were detected.

The dust was detected near Saturn, where the NASA device was still in operation 3 years ago. There is a lot of dust around the planet that makes up the famous rings. Most of it is ice, and it comes from active geysers on the surface of the mysterious Enceladus, one of Saturn's moons.

However, the grains analyzed by the probe contained elements such as calcium, silicon and iron, something completely different from the ones found on the moons of the Lord of the Rings. Scientists have revealed that they traveled at 72,000 kilometers per hour during observations, and that along a different path than the ice dust. Such a high speed guarantees the free flow of the grains throughout the entire solar system.

Scientists do not know exactly where it may come from, but it is certain that it is outside our solar system, i.e. interstellar space. They were probably thrown into space after a star exploded. Interestingly, NASA found similar material in the 90s of the last century, but then no detailed research was carried out, which made it impossible to clearly state what we were dealing with.
